One of the projects we made on the cruise was one of my most popular DIYs from this year - record album journals! I had a big box of old record album covers (no albums inside) and we cut them up to make into books.
Bazzill Basics Paper sent us each a pack of scrapbook paper and journal cards. We used them to make the pages for our signatures that went inside our journal covers!
Each paper was double-sided with different patterned designs. Some of u s left the papers as is, and others used the Gelli Plate to add mixed media textures.
We used embroidery thread to bind the signatures and then glued them inside the journal cover and used duct tape to trim all the edges!
