Cardmaking with @garayrichard and Fun Stampers Journey!

One of our cruisers, Sylvia, brought some wonderful cardmaking supplies from Fun Stampers Journey. They were another generous sponsor! The theme was butterflies for Mother's Day and I'll post more pictures of what people made as soon as I get them! In the meantime, check out FSJ's CEO, Richard Garay's web site - you'll be inspired!

A secret treasure inside our swag bags: Craft Attitude! @stylesmiletv

I used Craft Attitude to print our my Instagram pictures and affix them to canvases!
My friend, Jonathon Fong, had Craft Attitude send each of us a package of their product. It's this cool image transfer technique that is super easy. Youjust print out your image on the film using your printer and then use a glue stick to coat the surface, peel off the paper backing and set the image face down on the surface. Soooo cool! The film just kind of melts onto the surface!
See more at http://CraftAttitude.com and visit Jonathan's site!

Crafty Chica Cruise T-shirts!

Michaels Stores sponsored our t-shirts again this year - 7th year in a row! Patrick drew the design and we used my beloved Tulip Screen It to print all 70 shirts! People were quick to get creative and transform them into choppy Lido Deck tops!

@ilovetocreate saves the day! Glitter and Tacky Glue are the ultimate crafty necessities!

Each cruiser received their very own set of 24 glitters! Some people loved them so much,t hey didn't want to open the box!
iLoveToCreate.com always has my back! Every year on the cruise, they have been our top sponsor by providing us with all the crafty necessities: Tacky Glue, glitter, glitter spray, glaze, paint and more. We used all the supplies on just about every project we made!

Generous artists we love! @nikimaki @heavenlyskull @RetroCafeArt

Not only did big craft manufacturers send us goods to work with, so did indie artists too! These artists took time out of their busy lives to put together treat bags for each of us, and we love them for that...so appreciated!

Retro Cafe Art Gallery: Visit their site to find collage sheets, trinkets, shrine elements and more.

Heavenly Skull: Naomi is a past Crafty Chica Cruiser and shared her spirit this year by making each of us a little collage pack of mixed media items, which we all loved!

Made By Nicole: Nicole Maki actually hand-dyed silk ribbon and sent us each a little bundle to use in our work. It was so pretty and had such deep, rich color.

Please visit their sites and give them some love, they will be so happy for the support!!

@IceResin brings out the artist in all of us!

I filled my bezels with goodies from Suenos Latin American Imports and from Ranger Ink.
Ice Resin knows how much the Crafty Chica Cruisers love their product. We're going on three years now that we've had a bezel pendant project thanks to the team at the IR headquarters. This year they sent us each a kit and a beautiful metal bezel.
Here is what we did with them!

Loco for @Xochico !!

One of the highlights of our trip was that Xochico donated an amazing array of Mexi-style goods for our cruisers. So much that we were able to do drawings and everyone was able to win a fabulous prize from an innovative entrepreneur!

These items are beautiful, well-made and are certainly going to be collector's items. Check out their site and Facebook page to scoop up your own treasures!

We are so grateful, thank you, Xochico!

Wood Bangles - the wearable canvas! @diybangles

We crafty cruisers never get tired of these awesome wood bracelets provided by DIY Bangles! There are so many things you can do with them! From coloring, to gluing to even wrapping them with yarn, we had crafters stamp on them too! Endless ideas :-)

BoiFromIpanema (Jeshua) painted these for his mom for Mother's Day. Aren't they gorgeous?

And his sister, Denise from Pearmama.com made these - soooo sweet!

And I have a tutorial for these yarn-wrapped bangles on my blog, Crafty Chica.com.

Beautiful bracelets by Sylvia Alva of Que Milagro Studios! She made these on the cruise, so pretty!!

Mixed media trinkets from @RangerInk and @tim_holtz !

Tim Holtz over at Ranger Ink  always, always, always sends us the best items to craft with. This year he packed 70 mini-swag bags of all kinds of interesting trinkets. I used several of them to fill a resin bezel (thank you Ice Resin!).

The cruisers used them on everything from jewelry to shrines to boxes to books! As you look though all the other projects, you can see them used everywhere!

Decoden-inspired shrine boxes from @WalnutHollow and Suenos Latin American Imports!

For another project we transformed a plain wood box that Walnut Hollow sent us and turned it into a functional shrine. On top we used bathroom silicone and decorated a wood block with all kinds of trinkets, Ranger Ink and buttons from Blumenthal Lansing.

Here are the goodies that Robert sent us from Suenos Latin American Imports!
We started by using Tulip Soft Paint as a base and then let it all dry and then decorated the top. I love how creative they all turned out! Each one tells a different story!
